At Holme From Home Boarding Kennels, we provide so much more than just a place for your dog to stay — we offer a safe, loving, and comfortable home away from home.
Set in over 100 acres of beautiful Staffordshire countryside, we are a family-run business with over 30 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities.
Our Accommodation
Comfort comes first at Holme From Home.
Our luxury kennels are fully insulated and heated throughout the winter, with tiled bedrooms and indoor runs — many offering views across open fields.
In summer, we open patio doors to bring the fresh air in, creating a bright, relaxing space for your dog to unwind.

Exercise & Play
We believe dogs should have fun while they stay with us!
Your dog will enjoy daily off-lead exercise in one of our three large, securely fenced paddocks. We exercise all guests at least twice a day — either individually or with carefully chosen playmates.
Vaccinations and Kennel Cough Vaccine
All dogs must have an up to date vaccination certificate or proof of vaccinations, which must be presented upon arrival.
Dogs must also be up to date with the KENNEL COUGH VACCINE, which must be administered at least 14 days prior to their arrival at Holme from Home. This isn’t routinely given to dogs without requesting your vet to do so, so please get it done before their stay.
Diet & Nutrition
To keep your dog happy and healthy, we ask owners to provide their dog's regular food and feeding instructions.
We cater for all diets, including raw feeding, and have fridge/freezer storage available.
Medication & Special Care
We’re happy to administer medication free of charge (excluding diabetic injections which incur a small fee).
Clear instructions must be provided.
Home Comforts
We provide clean, comfortable bedding for every guest — but you’re welcome to bring your dog’s own bed, blankets, or favourite toys to help them feel at home.
We even leave the radio on during the day for a little extra company!
Bath, Brush & Blow Dry
Treat your dog to a spa-style bath, brush and blow dry before heading home.
Using high-quality shampoos — including sensitive skin options — we’ll have your dog looking and smelling their best. Nail trimming is also available for a small extra cost.
Safety & Security
Your dog’s safety is our top priority.
Holme From Home is protected by a state-of-the-art security camera and laser system. A member of staff is onsite 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring constant care and security.
