Celebrated as one of Staffordshire’s finest boarding kennels, set in over 100 acres and with over 30 years expereince, Holme from Home is a family run establishment. As we have had dogs all of our life, we understand that they are a huge part of the family and take extra special care of new dogs who have not experienced being away from home before. As a family we are dedicated to our guests during their time with us, providing everything they need for an enjoyable stay.
Accommodation
Our accommodation is all within a luxury purpose built, fully insulated building. Each has its own indoor run and tiled bedroom area, many with views across the fields. We have a number of extra large rooms to accommodate bigger families.
Our guests receive the best of everything during their stay. Throughout the winter months the whole building is fully heated by circulated hot air making them very cosy. During the warmer months we open up the patio doors bringing the outside in.
Exercise and Play
We are located in the heart of Staffordshire’s beautiful countryside with fantastic outdoor facilities. One of our main assets is being able to walk your dog off a lead in one of 3 large securely fenced paddocks. As part of our daily routine, we exercise our guests at least twice a day with or without the company of other dogs as required.
Diet and Nutrition
We know from experience that continuity of your dogs feeding regime is paramount to their health. We therefore recommend that you bring your dogs normal food and provide us with their feeding instructions. Fridges and freezers are available to accommodate dogs with raw diets and fussy eaters.
Medication
We administer medication free of charge. Our only exceptions to this are our diabetic guests who require regular injections. This would incur a small supplement. We require clear instructions with all medication.
'Holme' comforts
Our four-legged guests are made very comfortable using our own beds and bedding, however if you wish to provide them with their own beds or bedding from home then this is most welcome. Toys or additional items that you think will help to settle them in can also accompany them. During the day, in all our kennel blocks, the radio will be left on for your dog to tune into!
Bath, Brush and Blow dry
Our bath, brush and blow dry service is a perfect treat for your dog at the end of their stay with us. We ensure that every care is given so that you dog has a positive grooming experience. We use the finest quality shampoos and also cater for dogs with sensitive skin. Your dog will be thoroughly brushed and dried off, leaving them feeling refreshed and smelling beautiful. At a small additional cost we can also trim their nails.
Security
The safety and security of dogs during their stay at Holme from Home is of the upmost importance. We have a state of the art security camera and laser system installed and a member of staff is onsite 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Monday - Saturday: 7.30am - 5pm
Sunday and Bank Holidays: 7.30-10.30am 3pm-5pm.
Closed all day to the public on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday
